Instructions for submitting photos...

To submit your photograph in the album, please fill in all fields, upload the file, and supply the required information for the caption. Before you transfer the file(s), be sure that they are named appropriately. For individual photographs, this nomenclature is lastname_firstname.jpg [or .tif, or .bmp, or .gif,], all lowercase with an underscore (cap-hyphen) to mark the space between the last name and the first name. For group shots, this is city_YYYYMM.jpg [or .tif, or .bmp, or .gif,], all lowercase with an underscore (cap-hyphen) to mark the space between the city name and the date.

If you have more than one photo of the same person or city, add an underscore and a two-digit number to the end of the file name, but before the extension. For example, cain_hal_01.jpg, cain_hail_02.jpg or seattle_200606_01.jpg, seattle_200606_02.jpg.

The files end up in a directory with many others, which is why naming them this way is important: it prevents album maintenance migraines. Many thanks for your assistance. If you have any questions, please email the webmaster.

The image must be in either jpg or tif format, and will ideally be at least 300 pixels high. Please be sure that the file has a .jpg or a .tif extension.

Please include the names of everyone in the photograph, the place, and the date. If you would like a URL included, please supply that also. Professional links will be tagged work, personal links either play or blog.

Individual shots are listed under the person's name. Group shots are listed under the city name. There are no exceptions. If a photo has only two people, it may be used in both the group and the individual section, with a listing for each person.

All fields are required. Be sure also to please click the upload button only once.
